With the relatively recent announcement that Honda is working on an American version of the Civic Type R as part of the car's tenth generation, automotive fans no doubt have quite a few questions. What will it look like? How will it drive? Will it retain its potent front-wheel drive, 306 horsepower underpinning?

The answers to those questions are still to come, friends. But in the meantime, the folks over at XCar have a fantastic video showing off the Type R on the European circuit. The reviewer covers all the details about the car, from its looks to its fantastic driving dynamics and impressive manual transmission. While this video is purely aimed at Euro-spec buyers, we hope it’s a jumping off point for the American version to come.

Behold.

While the tenth-gen Civic is forthcoming, our ninth gen models offer plenty of awesome for drivers here in San Jose, CA. Contact our showroom if you'd like to test drive one of our new Honda models.
