If you are traveling with food this holiday season, make sure that you pack wisely. You want to avoid having any spills in your vehicle, and packing your holiday dishes smartly can prevent that from happening.
Pack food in containers with tight-fitting lids and be sure to transport food items in insulated bags or containers. If you don't have insulated carriers, you can make one out of a simple box lined with towels. It will not only keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold, but you will be able to absorb any leaks or spills if they happen.
Be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to arrive at your destination. Don't ever travel rushed. Keep in mind that there will be more traffic on the roads and that you need extra time.
