U.S. News & World Report announced recently that the 2017 Honda CR-V, 2017 Honda Fit and 2017 Honda HR-V all received 2017 "Best Cars for the Money" awards for their respective segments. The awards are given to vehicles in 20 categories that provide the best combination of quality and long-term value.

The 2017 Honda CR-V was named first in the Compact SUV category, while the 2017 Honda Fit led the way in the Subcompact Car segment and the 2017 Honda HR-V won the Subcompact SUV category for a second straight year.

U.S. News & World Report determines the rankings based on safety performance and reliability data, including a consensus of industry expert opinions and a value assessment that is calculated by factoring in the average price paid for the vehicle and the five-year cost of ownership.
