Earlier this month, Honda celebrated the company's 60th anniversary of operating in the United States with a display of both vintage and modern products at the 2019 SEMA Show. One exhibit we found particularly interesting was the center-stage showing of a pair of Honda CR-V models: the refreshed 2020 Honda CR-V, and the all-new Honda CR-V Hybrid. Both were specially equipped for this showing with features that are perfectly suited to taking off for adventure.

The 2020 Honda CR-V showcased was a "Dream" build by Jsport Performance Accessories, intended for owners who want to explore the great outdoors with all the essentials they need on board. Modifications included a 1.5-inch lift kit, a revamped front bumper, side steps, a rear tire gate, a Jsport Plateau modular roof rack, and a Roofnest Falcon clamshell-style rooftop tent. To make traveling overland easier, the SUV sits on 17-inch KMC off-road wheels that feature Nitto Ridge Grappler all-terrain tires. Finally, an organization cabinet and slide-out refrigerator provide the comforts of home in the cargo area.

The 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid was shown in a "Do" build, also from Jsport Performance Accessories. Aimed for the weekend warrior, this model is equipped with the 1.5-inch lift kit, side steps, and a Jsport roof basket. The same wheels and tires as found on the specialized Honda CR-V were used, while a Cannondale mountain bike was mounted to the roof basket.

The 2020 Honda CR-V is due to arrive later this fall, and the all-new Honda CR-V Hybrid will follow early next year. We invite you to visit our San Jose Honda dealership to either speak with one of our team members and learn more about these new models, or to check out the exciting Honda inventory currently available. Either way, we look forward to seeing you soon!
